About the role
Elimity is looking for a talented sales developer (SDR) based in Belgium: a high-energy, driven professional with natural sales instincts and fabulous cold calling skills to join our organization. You will play an essential role at Elimity as you will have massive impact on our growth.
Together with the commercial team, you'll be involved in all steps of the sales development process: from creating qualitative leads, building prospect lists and contacting your contacts to build our deals pipeline. You regularly visit both national and international prospects, attend international conferences or events to build your network and be a known face within the cybersecurity and IAM world. You closely work with the whole team, from product to marketing, to fuel our pipeline growth and close better deals. You will directly report to the CEO.
You will be part of a young team of highly-qualified people that all have a can-do mentality. As such, this role requires a strong sense of ownership and responsibility, but comes with a high degree of independence and flexibility.
Fill our pipeline with well-qualified (inter)national leads, arrange discovery calls and product demonstrations
Proactively execute targeted out-bound campaigns to identify new contacts, establish meetings and qualify based on needs and fit
Following-up and qualifying inbound leads from web enquiries, demonstration requests, content downloads, webinars, and conferences
Maintain active engagement with prospects and clients through follow-up. Build a network and educate your target audience on cybersecurity and IAM
Collaborate with the product & marketing team to ensure a constant flow of quality leads
Contribute to our value proposition and sales pitch, actively communicate with the team on our pipeline, share feedback and insights of prospects
You have a ‘hunter’ mentality: always on the lookout for new opportunities, and prospecting into new accounts is a piece of cake, and you have the ability to autonomously convince prospects and close deals. You live and breathe cold calling and are comfortable engaging with C-level executives
You thrive in an entrepreneurial company and flourish when working under pressure. You are comfortable with a long-term commitment to a start-up and the dynamic contents of this job
You have 1+ years of SDR experience with a technology vendor or selling security solutions. You have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding goals consistently, and even have sales experience in a non-work-related context
You have excellent qualifying, presentation and communication skills. You speak and write Dutch & English fluently and at least another European language (French, German, Spanish or Swedish)
You have a Bachelor or Masters in ICT, Business Engineering, or equivalent: you have the ability to conceptually understand our solution and explain it on a high level, and have an analytical mindset
You are result-oriented, prioritize your tasks and get things done. You take responsibility, show initiative, build your own success but love to share wins with the team
As one of our primary sales development representatives, we expect the following accomplishments:
1. After one month:
Actively contribute to filling up the pipeline
2. After three months:
Be able to independently reach out to prospects, hold initial meetings and qualify
3. After six months:
Have full ownership over certain target markets and their pipelines
Have closed your first deal and significantly increased our growth rate
