We are an innovator in the area of managing the IT permissions of employees, also known as Identity and Access Management (IAM). Extremely technical tools and brittle Excel processes have been dominating this area for a long time. This situation is costly and insecure, and the regulator is starting to actively fine banks for not being in control.

We provide a data analytics software product specifically for IAM that instantly gives the responsible managers essential insights on the risks and conflicts of their digital identities. Our product helps our customers to withstand the regulatory pressure and be resilient for tomorrow’s cyber challenges.

About the role

Your job is to be the commercial and technical lead at our customers: solicit business requirements, develop a (technical) solution strategy, manage the whole customer project lifecycle, and provide successful deployments of our software in our clients' environments. You will deliver various pre- and post-sales activities such as building relationships with potential customers, current customers, and sales partners, providing guidance via customized demo’s to prospects, manage proof-of-concepts, and workshops, responding to RFPs, and clearly  & effectively communicating solution value to a business and technical audience.

 

As a solution engineer, you will also be responsible for customer success: you will help clients get maximum value out of our product while working closely with the sales, marketing, and product team to achieve that goal, and make them customers for life.

Responsibilities

  • As a customer success superstar, you will own the entire pre- and post-sales relationship, including qualification of prospects, onboarding, ongoing retention and upselling.

  • Delivery of various pre-sales activities including: developing and planning conceptual solutions, presentations, providing technical guidance, responding to RFPs, and clearly & effectively communicating solution value to business and technical audience

  • Provide technical guidance to customers via customized demo’s, proof-of-concepts, and technical workshops

  • Communication to customers of aspects of both the product and implementation at a technical/functional level appropriate for the situation

  • Post-sales requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.

  • Working with clients in the post-implementation phase for user testing, debugging, support, and maintenance, developing and delivering technical training to our customers

  • Installation, integration, and deployment of our software products at the customer, including the project management: scope, schedule, reporting, and documentation

  • Become an active member of the Elimity community: writing blog posts, knowledge base  articles and generally evangelizing Elimity’s solutions

Ideal Candidate

  • You are able to think like our customer, guide them through the first steps of working with Elimity, collaboratively design a solution for their problems using our products and produce the appropriate supporting documents (project descriptions, RFPs, …)

  • You are able to collaborate as part of a team to solve business and technical problems. You aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and contribute across the entire sales cycle

  • You thrive in an entrepreneurial company and are comfortable with a long-term commitment to a start-up and the dynamic contents of this job

  • You are comfortable with some travel, at the start primarily in the region BeNeLux, UK, Scandinavia. (approximately 35% of your time)

  • Experience with Identity and/or Access Management (IDM / IAM) products and its concepts (RBAC) is a plus

  • Track record of success in a pre-sales environment for a software solutions business is a plus

  • Solid verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills (English, written and oral).

  • Experience within the financial (services) sector is a plus.

  • Experience with QA duties is a plus (usability testing, performance testing, automated testing, test scripts, test cases, and test plans)

  • Experience with Project Management duties (project planning, resource management, scope, schedule and status, documentation).

  • Master in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Commercial Engineering, Business Engineering, or equivalent (work) experience

  • Proven professional work experience as part of an enterprise software company or systems integrator is a plus
